Digital project training lab
The Digital Projects Training Laboratory was established in 2021 at the Faculty of Finance and Digital Technologies of the State Tax University in accordance with the decision of the Academic Council of the University.
The purpose of the laboratory is to provide high-quality training for higher education students, as well as to enable the introduction of innovative and scientific activities into the educational process.
In the laboratory, each workstation is equipped with a computer for the use of digital projects in the educational process in 2D, 3D modelling, digital animation, photo shooting, video advertising and PR projects, educational and research systems of modelling, analytics, forecasting software packages (such as SPSS, PSPP, Orange3, gretl, STADIA, Octava, etc.), databases (MariaDB, MongoDB, etc.) and IT technologies in education and business processes.
The key objectives of the Digital Projects Learning Lab are:
- development of educational, methodological and information support for teaching disciplines in computer and digital technologies and systems;
- creation of a data bank for course projects and qualification works;
- Improving the general, professional culture and activity of higher education students, bringing educational activities closer to research and future professional activities;
- ensuring the research work of higher education students on the problems of information and analytical support of management decisions and modelling of socio-economic processes in order to acquire practical skills in research;
- formation of a bank of tests and their use to test the knowledge of higher education students;
- introduction of testing in the educational process in all disciplines of the departments;
- introduction and use of modern specialised software and information in the educational process;
- development and implementation of innovative programmes, individual courses and modules for training and education of higher education students of all specialities of the Faculty of Finance and Digital Technologies, based on modern educational technologies, progressive forms of organisation of the educational process and active teaching methods that meet the current world level;
- providing interested individuals and legal entities with expert advisory, information and analytical, methodological and other services on the theory and practice of educational, methodological and research work of the departments;
- conducting fundamental and applied research in the established priority areas of research work of the University;
- creation of conditions for bachelors and masters to undergo industrial and pre-diploma practice;
- facilitating the organisation of course and qualification design by higher education students using modern software, modern software environments and advanced software products, business analysis and modelling methods to form their professional competence, which ensures competitiveness in the labour market;
- facilitating the organisation of paid advanced training courses and other IT courses for external students.
The classroom of the digital projects training laboratory has information and cognitive content, which is reflected in the stands on computer and digital technologies and systems. The stands demonstrate the educational and scientific material that higher education students work on during seminars and practical classes held in this classroom.
The classroom also presents scientific literature developed by the faculty's research and teaching staff, which higher education students can use during seminars and practical classes.
