The Supervisory Board of the State Tax University was formed by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on 15 December 2021 (Order No. 679) with the following members:

Chairman of the Supervisory Board - Dmytro Samonenko, State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine

Deputy Chairman - Olena Fil, Director of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine

Secretary - Volodymyr Yakubivskyi, Director of the Department of Financial and Economic Planning, Analysis and Property Relations of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine

Members of the Supervisory Board:

• Olha Zykova - Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine
• Nataliia Slysh - Director of the Project Office of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine (by agreement)
• Oleh Kantsurov - Member of the Audit Supervisory Board of the Public Oversight Body for Audit Activities (by agreement)
• Serhii Petukhov - Head of the Department for Mandatory Full Inspections of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (by agreement)

The Chairman of the Supervisory Board shall organise its work and be responsible for the exercise of its powers.

The Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board shall perform the functions of the Chairman in his absence.

The term of office of the Supervisory Board is 5 years.

In accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" and the Charter of the State Tax University, the main tasks of the Supervisory Board of the University are:

• assistance in solving perspective tasks of the University development, attraction of financial resources to ensure activities in the main directions of development and control over their use, effective interaction of the University with state and local authorities, scientific community, socio-political organisations and business entities in the interests of development and improvement of the quality of educational activities and competitiveness of the University;
• public control over the University's activities, etc.

Members of the Supervisory Board shall have the right to:

• to participate in the work of the supreme collegial body of public self-government of the University with the right of advisory vote;
• participate in determining the University's development strategy and monitor its implementation;
• facilitate the attraction of additional sources of funding;
• analyse and evaluate the activities of the University and the Rector of the University;
• monitor the implementation of the University's estimate and/or budget and make appropriate recommendations and proposals, which are mandatory for consideration by the Rector of the University.

Members of the Supervisory Board have the right to attend meetings of the Academic Council of the University, the University Administration, and governing bodies of the University's structural units.

The work of the Supervisory Board is organised by the Secretariat of the Supervisory Board, which consists of employees of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine who collect, prepare materials and minutes of the Supervisory Board meetings.

The rules of procedure of the Supervisory Board are determined by an order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

The main form of activity of the Supervisory Board is its meetings, which are held as needed, but at least once a month. The decision to hold a meeting is made by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board alone or at the request of at least 1/3 of the members of the Supervisory Board.

A resolution of the Supervisory Board shall be deemed adopted if at least half of the members of the Supervisory Board have voted in favour of it. Resolutions of the Supervisory Board shall be signed by its Chairman or a deputy performing his functions.

Interference by public authorities in the activities of the Supervisory Board is not allowed, except in cases provided for by the legislation of Ukraine.
