Campus
The State Tax University is an educational and scientific institution where student life is full of activity. It is impossible to imagine it without student dormitories, because as the saying goes: "Those who have not lived in a dormitory have not experienced real student life".
The campus (hereinafter referred to as the campus) is a structural subdivision of the State Tax University (hereinafter referred to as the University) and is governed in its activities by the current legislative acts of Ukraine, the Charter of the State Tax University, the Regulations on the campus of the State Tax University, the Regulations on accommodation, residence in dormitories (buildings, housings) of the University campus, the Procedure for accommodation, relocation and eviction on the campus of the University and the Rules of Internal Regulations in dormitories (buildings, housings) of the University.
The number of beds in the campus dormitories, which is suitable for accommodation of higher education students (hereinafter referred to as students) is 614 l/m, of which:
- in dormitory No. 1 (86-A Sadova St.) - 275 l/m
- in dormitory No. 3 (79-B Severnaya St.) - 339 l/m.
The dormitories have adequate social and living conditions for comfortable living of undergraduate and postgraduate students. The rooms are equipped with the necessary furniture: beds, wardrobes, bedside tables, a table and chairs. Each dormitory has comfortable lobbies, kitchens, sanitary and hygiene facilities, study and recreation rooms. For the period of quarantine measures, three isolated rooms have been equipped in accordance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements for 9 beds.
The university's student dormitories are intended for full-time students (undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students) who live at a distance of more than 50 km from the city of Irpin. Applicants for higher education who permanently reside in cities, towns and villages located at a distance of less than 50 km from the city of Irpin (Bucha, Gostomel, etc.) and need a place in the dormitories are accommodated on a general basis after the completion of the main settlement, subject to availability of free places. Places in dormitories are not provided to persons who are provided with housing in the same settlement where the dormitory is registered. Priority is given to nonresident students who belong to privileged categories (orphans, combatants, children of JFO participants, persons with disabilities, students from large families, persons affected by the Chernobyl disaster and persons registered as internally displaced), foreign students and student families. Other categories of students receive places in dormitories if they are available, but priority is given to students from low-income families. The distribution of places in the dormitories is carried out in accordance with the Regulation "On Student Dormitories of the University Campus". The chairman of the student council and the student trade union of the educational institution together with the deputy director for educational work, form the lists of settled, according to the need of nonresident students who need housing. The lists are published on the University's website.
During the period of preparatory courses, admission campaigns, registration and examination sessions, applicants and part-time students may also be accommodated in the university's student dormitories (subject to availability).
The dormitories have a student council that ensures active student life. Many intellectual, entertainment and sporting events are held.
The cost of accommodation for applicants for higher education of the University is 800 UAH/month, for persons who are applicants for higher education and/or employees of other educational institutions, institutions and organisations the cost of accommodation
- in dormitory No. 1 is 1620 UAH/month
- in dormitory No. 3 is 1290 UAH/month
To move into a campus dormitory, you need to complete the following steps:
- To find out in which dormitory the applicant for higher education will live - check with the directorate of the Institute/Faculty or on the University website
- Apply to the director of the campus (or his/her deputy) for an accommodation order
- Apply to the head of the relevant dormitory for registration of the right to live in the dormitory and the formation of a personal file with the following list of documents: - A
copy of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine or ID-card and a certificate of registration of the place of residence (Appendix 13);
- A copy of the identification code; - A certificate of
family composition; - A certificate of
benefits (if any); - A
copy of the certificate confirming the status of the privileged category; - Certificate of
fluoroscopic examination;
- Certificate with a dermatologist's note on admission to the dormitory (issued at any polyclinic/outpatient clinic at the place of residence, which indicates the absence of pediculosis)
- Photos 3*4 - 4 pcs. - Sign an agreement on accommodation in a dormitory
- Make a payment by bank details for the next month of residence in the hostel
- To be instructed on the Safety Rules, Fire Safety Rules and to get acquainted with the Rules of Residence and Behaviour in the hostel
- Get keys to the room, property for temporary use, and a temporary pass to enter the dormitory, which is later exchanged for a permanent one.
To temporarily register your place of residence for the period of study, you must contact the campus administration and provide the following documents:
- A passport of a citizen of Ukraine or an ID card and a certificate of residence registration (Appendix 13);
- A copy of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine or an ID card and a certificate of residence registration (Annex 13);
- A copy of the identification code;
- The original registration certificate or military ID card with a mark of the Irpin-Buchansky military registration and enlistment office (for men only). In case the military commissariat at the place of residence refuses to deregister a higher education applicant, it is necessary to take a certificate of enrolment of such an applicant in the University (in the Admissions Office or in the Directorate of the Institute/Faculty);
- A copy of the military registration certificate or military ID (for boys only);
- A certificate from the university/faculty stating that the applicant is enrolled in the relevant course of study and is actually a student.
Administrative and economic activities are managed by the campus administration, which is located in the premises of dormitory No. 3 at 79-B Severna Street.
As of February 2024, there are 200 free beds.
