The Educational and Scientific Institute of Law at the State Tax University celebrated International Students' Day. The events took place in unison with university-wide activities, bringing together faculty, students, and alumni of the institute.
The day began with honoring the memory of Ukraine's defenders. Those present honored the Heroes with a moment of silence and laid flowers at the memorial.
The solemn part was opened by Dmytro Ventskovskyy, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and Social Development. In his welcoming speech, he noted that all present faculty members sincerely envy the students and fondly recall their own student years. "Today you can afford what is unavailable at other periods of life. Celebrate, because only during student years can you manage to do everything," emphasized the Vice-Rector, highlighting the uniqueness of this life stage.
Vasyl Topchii, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law, congratulated the student community on their professional holiday. Andriy Kravchuk, Deputy Mayor of Irpin and an alumnus of the Institute of Law, joined in awarding the best students.
Traditionally, the celebration concluded in an informal atmosphere of Ukrainian hospitality. The organizers set up a field kitchen where bograch was cooked over a fire. Students and faculty enjoyed pilaf, pies, and pancakes. All funds raised from the charity fair were directed to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The festive day was accompanied by Ukrainian songs and communication, which united representatives of different courses and generations of the STU legal family. Such traditions strengthen the connection between participants in the educational process and form a community of like-minded people.
