History

The Department of Financial Markets and Technologies is one of the youngest departments of the University, but it has a long prehistory. The Department of Financial Markets and Technologies was established in December 2021 by merging the Department of Financial Markets with the Department of Banking and Financial Monitoring, due to changes in the staff structure following the reorganization of the University of the SFS of Ukraine into the State Tax University.

The Department of Financial Markets and Financial Services was created in September 2007 by dividing the Department of Finance and Insurance. In September 2011, it was renamed the Department of Financial Markets to clarify its areas of activity.

The Department of Banking and Financial Monitoring was created in 2003 by dividing the Department of Finance into two departments with the goal of separating the area of activity for training specialists for the banking system and financial monitoring services.

Faculty departments formed by experts in, who have sufficient practical and scientific experience work . On departments and 9 permanent employees work scientific and pedagogical employees , of which 4 are professors , who have scientific degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences and 5 associate professors , who have scientific degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences.

At the Department of Finance market in and technologies assigned to 41 educational institutions disciplines in, for each of which there is created and constantly is being updated and improved necessary complex of modern educational and methodological support , in particular for the platform remote teaching MOODLE.

Over the years of his the existence of the department has become one of the leading scientific centers. During the period of the department's existence, the teaching staff has prepared over 600 methodological developments, published over 1000 scientific works, including over 100 monographs, textbooks and manuals with the seal of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Textbooks and manuals also form a significant achievement of the department.
