The system of internal quality assurance of higher education at the State Pedagogical University provides for the implementation of procedures and measures:
Functions of the department
- Studying and summarising national and international experience; experience of university faculties in monitoring the quality of education, disseminating information on monitoring research in the education system.
- Scientific, methodological and organisational support for monitoring the quality of knowledge of the University's students, development of a unified system of criteria and indicators for monitoring the quality of education at the University with the Institute / Faculties.
- Development of scientific and methodological principles for monitoring the quality of higher education.
- Coordination and organisation of activities to promote, observe and form a culture of academic integrity by participants in the educational process.
- Coordination, support, documentary/electronic processing of the analysed data of automated checks for academic plagiarism of textual works of applicants and research and teaching staff.
- Implementation of methodological and advisory work in the field of internal quality assurance of higher education at the University.
- Ensuring effective interaction of the University with stakeholders in the field of internal quality assurance of higher education.
- Development and implementation of measures to ensure the functioning of the higher education quality assurance system at the university in accordance with the requirements of state higher education standards.
- Conducting market research on the prospects of providing educational services by the University in certain specialities, specialisations and educational programmes.
- Coordination of work on the evaluation of academic staff and regular publication of the results of such evaluations on the official website of the University.
- Monitoring the quality of educational services at the University.
- Coordination of actions of all structural subdivisions of the University on the implementation of the system of internal quality assurance of educational activities and quality of higher education.
- Participation in the development of the policy of the internal system of quality assurance of education, determination of principles and procedures for quality assurance of higher education;
- Implementation and continuous improvement of feedback measures with consumers of services provided by the University.
- Providing advisory and methodological assistance to the structural units of the University on diagnostics, assessment and monitoring of the quality of knowledge of students.
- Preparation and introduction of issues to eliminate inconsistencies identified during the monitoring, taking into account proposals from structural units to improve monitoring activities.
- Informing subjects and objects of educational audit about the results of all types of monitoring
- Advisory assistance and cooperation with student self-government bodies
- Conducting a survey among employers on the quality of education of University graduates and the needs of the labour market.
- Ensure planning, conducting and analysing internal audits of the University's structural units for compliance with the quality management system.
- Informing the University management, higher education students about the work carried out by posting information, certificates, reports on the website and other information resources.
Survey of participants in the educational process
The purpose of the survey of participants in the educational process is to study the quality of teaching and the level of satisfaction of higher education students as consumers of educational services, to stimulate professional growth and professional development of academic staff, to take into account the interests and suggestions of higher education students, to organise the educational process, to involve students in the process of periodic review and improvement of the quality assurance procedures for educational programmes.
The purpose of the questionnaires is to:
- use of questionnaires as one of the elements of monitoring the quality control system of the educational process;
- improving the efficiency of the educational process;
- obtaining reliable and high-quality information on the attitude of higher education students to the activities of the SPE;
- obtaining reliable and high-quality information about learning and teaching in the educational programme, with the aim of further using this information when revising the EP;
- Providing guarantors of teaching and research staff who provide teaching with information that will improve the quality of training and increase the efficiency of the educational process;
- providing the University management with information on various aspects of the scientific and pedagogical activities of teachers.
