«Media Centre» Press Service
The "Media Centre" Press Service is an independent structural unit of the State Tax University (hereinafter referred to as the STU) and reports to the Rector of the University, and on certain issues to the Vice-Rector for Digitalisation and Innovative Learning of the University.
The Press Service is guided in its activities by the Constitution of Ukraine, the Laws of Ukraine "On Higher Education", "On Information", "On Access to Public Information", "On Protection of Information in Information and Telecommunication Systems", "On Copyright and Related Rights", "On Citizens' Appeals", "On Printed Mass Media (Press) in Ukraine", "On Television and Radio Broadcasting", the European Charter of Local Self-Government, other international treaties and legal acts ratified by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, acts of the President of Ukraine, the
The main tasks of the press service are:
- Creating a positive image of the higher education institution by informing the city and regional public about important events in the life of the University, achievements in scientific, educational and cultural activities of the staff and students of the State Pedagogical University.
- Maintaining the University's website and official resources on the Internet.
- Media coverage of events held in the SFSU.
- Extension of the unified corporate style to advertising and video products represented by the Tax Service.
The press service "Media Centre" in accordance with the established procedure and within the limits of its authority interacts with other structural subdivisions of the University, as well as collegial and working bodies that function within it, mass media, public organisations, relevant units of local self-government, education and science, fiscal service, including in order to create conditions for consistent and coordinated activities for the proper performance of its tasks and implementation of planned activities.
