Oracle Academy

The international educational program of social partnership Oracle Academy is an educational project of the leading developer of software for databases, cloud services and computing, Oracle Corporation (headquarters: Austin (Texas, USA)).
The State Tax University (hereinafter referred to as the University) has been an institutional participant in the Oracle Academy educational program since 2017. Membership in this program is renewed every three years. Currently, the University's membership in the program is valid until November 2027.

Benefits of University Participation in the Program: institutional membership in the Oracle Academy program (as an educational institution) is free and provides faculty with access to cutting-edge technology and software, expert curricula, teaching materials, professional development, recognition of competencies, and many other resources. Faculty can take advantage of many of these benefits, including training materials to prepare students for Oracle Certification, software licenses, Oracle APEX cloud workspaces, and the Oracle Academy Cloud Program for 24/7 development and hands-on learning, which is important for distance learning.
Oracle Academy educational resources are used to train bachelors and masters in the specialty "Computer Science" F3 (122) in the subjects "Database and Knowledge", "Intelligent Technologies in Finance", "Big Data @ Machine Learning" etc. An important feature of this program is the ability to constantly use free Machine Learning (ML) tools, Big Data, extensive opportunities for creating a personal educational environment, the use of ML tools, Big Data and data processing technologies in scientific work.
The creation of study groups and training on Oracle Academy resources is carried out by an accredited instructor, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Oleksandr Redych, workshops are conducted by teachers, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Oksana Gladchenko, and Assistant Professor Artem Korotun.
Oracle Academy resources are used in the educational process of the Department of Computer and Information Technologies and Systems (DCITS) after the approval of the working programs of academic disciplines by the Scientific and Methodological Council of the university.

The Oracle Academy program systematically demonstrates the University's active participation in the program by issuing electronic badges on the official program website, which can be used by teachers and the University on social networks for marketing.

Students and teachers use Oracle Academy cloud computing resources in thesis design, scientific work, and professional development. During 2019-2025, 11 theses and one article in a journal indexed by Scopus were published individually and in co-authorship with students on the topic of Oracle technology research .
The teachers have prepared two textbooks covering Oracle technologies: 2019 “Information and Analytical Technologies in Taxation”; 2025 “Big Data and Machine Learning” (author O.V. Redych). The content of the textbooks is largely based on the use of OA resources and coverage of the information infrastructure of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, which operates on the Oracle platform.
In 2025, senior of the KMI-25-1 group Oleksandr Botvinko became the winner of the first round of the international competition of scientific papers on artificial intelligence with the project title "RESEARCH OF RAG TECHNOLOGY AND GENERATIVE AI SERVICE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF CHAT-BOTS ON THE ORCALE CLOUD PLATFORM" (11th place in the national ranking according to the results of the 2nd round).
