Mission of the Educational IT Hub

The State Tax University (hereinafter referred to as the University) is a participant in the international educational partnership programs Cisco Academy (since 2007), Oracle Academy (since 2017) , AWS Academy (since 2024). The Academic Council of the Faculty of Finance and Digital Technologies supported the initiative of the Department of Computer and Information Technologies and Systems to create an integrated educational IT environment based on the above educational platforms - "the Educational IT Hub", which will organizationally unite the above and other educational platforms (Microsoft, Google, IBM, etc.) to provide students, scientific and pedagogical workers with convenient access to an innovative resource for professional growth and scientific activity. This educational resource can be used to form individual educational trajectories, develop creative scientific activity and support startups.
The mission of the Educational IT Hub is to expand the capabilities of the university's academic community based on the integration of methodological and computational resources and services of leading IT corporations into educational and scientific processes, the formation of a practice-oriented educational environment, motivation for the development of professional digital competencies, the implementation of scientific research and projects.
The functioning and use of these resources of educational programs is carried out on the basis of agreements (public offers) accepted by the University management and accredited teachers - instructors of the specified academies.
Methodological and educational, cloud computing resources and services of the above educational programs are provided to the University by Cisco, Oracle, AWS corporations on a free basis within the framework of social partnership. Integration of innovative educational materials and tools is carried out in the subjects of the professional training cycle of bachelors under the educational programs "Information Management Systems and Technologies", "Digital Design Technologies" as well as in the subjects of master's training under the educational program "Computer Intelligent Technologies" (Department of Computer and Information Technologies and Systems (DCITS), Faculty of Finance and Digital Technologies (FFDT).
Advantages of integrating international educational programs into the educational process
Cisco Networking Academy (Cisco Academy) is an educational program of social partnership from the leading manufacturer of active network equipment Cisco (head office: San Francisco (California, USA, https://www.cisco.com , https://netacad.com ).
The use of Cisco Networking Academy resources in the educational process of higher education institutions of Ukraine is regulated by the Conclusion of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 06/26/2015 No. 141/12-G-824.
The advantages of the University's participation in the programs are: in 2009, the University, with the assistance of Cisco Corporation within the framework of cooperation in the Cisco Academy program, purchased active equipment for the computer network laboratory at preferential prices (now it is laboratory B407); constant and continuous development and expansion of the course catalog for the development of relevant and necessary practical skills and deep knowledge necessary for the use of new technologies and equal participation in the rapidly changing global economy.
Cisco Academy resources are used in teaching the following subjects: "Computer Networks", "Multi-service Information Systems Technologies", "Operating Systems" etc.

The advantages of the University's participation in the programs are: The University's institutional membership in Oracle Academy is free, within which accredited teachers-instructors are provided with access to world-class technologies and software, expert curricula, training materials, professional development programs, recognition of learning outcomes (certificates signed by accredited teachers). The program provides materials for preparing for Oracle Certification, software licenses, Oracle APEX workspaces and Oracle Academy Cloud Program for development and learning in practice >>>>> .
Currently, Oracle Academy resources are used in teaching the following subjects: "Database and Knowledge Organization", "Big Data and Machine Learning", "Neural Network Programming", "Machine Learning and Intelligent Technologies in Finance" and etc.

Amazon Web Services Academy resources are used in teaching the subjects: "Big Data and Machine Learning", "Database Technologies and Big Data".
The advantages of the University's participation in the programs are: access to AWS Academy content and the AWS Academy Learner Lab environment, developed and supported by AWS Academy; updating and updating content that reflects updates to AWS technologies, services and best practices; placement of the University in the catalog of AWS Academy participating institutions on the AWS Academy website; access to AWS Academy logos and branding; access to practical certification questions and receiving vouchers with a 100% discount for teachers approved by AWS Academy who are actively teaching or have taught the course.

In the educational process, the methodological materials of the specified educational resources are used on the basis of inclusion in the work programs of educational disciplines of the corresponding topics, lectures and laboratory practices. The work programs are considered by the DCITS and approved by the Scientific and Methodological Council of the University.
The Educational IT Hub operates on the basis of the DCITS and the Digital Projects Laboratory of the FFDT.
