Educational laboratory of physical rehabilitation and ergotherapy
The Educational Laboratory of Physical Rehabilitation, Occupational Therapy and Sports was established at the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Technologies and Management of the State Tax University in December 2021. The main function of the laboratory is to assist higher education students at the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education, as well as research and teaching staff of the Department of Physical Education, Sports and Health of the Educational Process, in scientific and practical activities in the specialty 017 Physical Culture and Sports.
There are tasks for the laboratory:
- providing conditions for conducting practical and methodological classes with research and teaching staff and higher education students in the disciplines of speciality 017 Physical Education and Sports;
- introducing progressive methods and modern technologies in the field of physical culture and sports;
- assisting the Department of Physical Education, Sports and Health in preparing and passing accreditations for educational programmes of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education in the speciality 017 "Physical Culture and Sports", field of knowledge 01 "Education/Pedagogy";
- creation of conditions for conducting research on the department's R&D for researchers and students;
- Together with the department's teaching staff, develop and organise advanced training courses in the speciality 017 "Physical Culture and Sports";
- involvement of higher education students at the second (master's) level in research work to write final qualification papers;
- introducing modern psychophysiological methods of assessing the functional state of the human body and non-medicinal means of its correction into the educational process;
- providing non-formal education.
Material and technical base of the laboratory:
The classroom for theoretical classes is designed for 25-30 seats with a multimedia board, projector and laptop
Practical classroom for massage classes with 10 massage tables
Gym with soft surface, Swedish walls, Evminov boards and pneumatic equipment
This classroom fund is aimed at providing practical training in the following disciplines:
- Anatomy;
- Physiology;
- Fundamentals of scientific research, sports metrology and measurement;
- Fundamentals of sports rehabilitation and adaptive sports;
- General massage;
- Physical rehabilitation;
- Therapeutic physical education.
The head of the training laboratory is Yurii Sergienko, PhD in Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor.
