Vehicle Driver Training Department
The Vehicle Drivers Training Department provides training for vehicle drivers (category B) to the public, students, cadets and graduates of general education institutions on the basis of basic or complete general secondary education, as well as vocational education, training and retraining.
The main task of the Department is to ensure the right of citizens to acquire the profession of a driver in accordance with their vocations, interests, abilities and health status, as well as to train, retrain, and upgrade their qualifications to meet their needs. The training period is determined by working curricula and working training programmes and is 2 months. Classes are held in two stages: theoretical and practical. The form of study is evening.

Yevhenii Maksymenko
Lecturer in the Department of Vehicle Driver Training, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor.
He has been working in the field of driver training since 2000 and has been a lecturer at our University since 2017. He is the author of the educational and methodological complex "Traffic Rules of Ukraine for Teachers", video lessons on Traffic Rules of Ukraine and the basics of road safety, illustrations on traffic rules. Currently, the training programmes of Yevhen Maksymenko are used not only by the institute's automotive training teachers, but also by more than 200 driving schools throughout Ukraine to organise classes.
