The State Tax University opens unique opportunities for its students — in particular, gaining international learning experience through the Erasmus+ program. Thanks to this initiative, the youth of STU can realize their dreams of studying abroad, as well as broaden their horizons.

A vivid example is Yeva Leim, a student of the Faculty of Finance and Digital Technologies, specializing in 072 "Finance, Banking, Insurance, and the Stock Market." From February 3 to June 30, 2025, she will study at Vilniaus kolegija (VIKO) — one of the leading universities of applied sciences in Lithuania.

International education, or learning without borders

The feature of studying at VIKO is the emphasis on practical training: here, case studies, real projects, interactive lectures, group research, the multimedia system Moodle, interactive boards, and modern teaching methods prevail.

Eva eagerly studies the courses:

  • Business English
  • Bank Audit and Control
  • Statistics
  • Finance Management
  • Company and Bank Accounting
  • Marketing

And as the student herself notes, education here is just part of the experience. A vibrant student life, communicating in English with peers from around the world, new acquaintances and travels—all of this shapes a new worldview and adds confidence.

Student life beyond the classrooms

Yeva actively participates in cultural and sports activities. She attends contemporary dance studios, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and fitness sections. Evenings of national cultures, excursions, and getting acquainted with the traditions of Lithuania and Lithuanian cuisine are also popular among students.

Erasmus+ — a space of new opportunities

"This is not just about education. It’s about growth, new ideas, language development, discovering other cultures, and oneself," shares Yeva.

The Erasmus+ program at STU is open to all students who have ambitions, speak English, and wish to broaden their horizons. To learn more, contact the International Relations Department of STU — and take the first step towards studying abroad.

STU trains specialists of a new generation — open to the world, ambitious, and ready for the challenges of the future.
