10 СІЧНЯ 1996 року постановою Кабінету Міністрів України №30 на базі Ірпінського фінансово-промислового коледжу був створений УКРАЇНСЬКИЙ ФІНАНСОВО-ЕКОНОМІЧНИЙ ІНСТИТУТ.
За сторічну навчальний заклад змінював назву 13 разів. Змінювали не тільки назву, але й спеціальності підготовки на вимогу держави.
