On 20 November 2025, Professor of the Department of Accounting and Audit of the Faculty of Tax Affairs, Accounting and Audit of the State Tax University, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Senior Research Fellow Volodymyr Metelytsia delivered a presentation at the XVII International Forum of Finance and Banking “Integration in Finance – Human, Economy, State”, which took place at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (WULS-SGGW, Poland).

The Forum was held on 20-21 November 2025 and was organized by the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (WULS-SGGW) in cooperation with the Institut d'Estudis Financers (Barcelona). The event brought together leading economists, financiers, banking analysts, representatives of academic institutions of the EU, and practitioners in the field of sustainable development and financial innovations.

Within Plenary Session III “Innovativeness and Sustainable Development in Finance”, Volodymyr Metelytsia presented a scientific report titled: “ESG Implementation and Sustainability Reporting Platform in Agricultural Enterprises”.

During the presentation, the results of scientific research conducted at the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO, Germany) in cooperation with the State Tax University (Ukraine) were presented. The report was devoted to the contemporary challenges and opportunities of implementing sustainable development in the agricultural sector of Ukraine. In particular, the following issues were highlighted:

  • the use of digital tools for preparing sustainability reporting in accordance with the requirements of the EU CSRD, ESRS and FSDN;
  • assessment of the readiness of Ukrainian agricultural enterprises to implement ESG practices in the conditions of a wartime economy;
  • the potential of ESG reporting in attracting “green” financing for post-war reconstruction;
  • presentation of the Sustainability Reporting Platform – a new digital platform developed at IAMO to support transparency, digitalization, and investment attractiveness of Ukraine’s agricultural sector.

In his presentation, Volodymyr Metelytsia emphasized the importance of digital modernization and the integration of Ukraine into the European regulatory space, as well as the role of scientific developments in shaping resilient financial solutions and developing agri-financial markets.
