Training laboratory of legal proceedings
The Judicial Training Laboratory is a complex of cybercrime prevention, criminal law and criminology classrooms and a courtroom.
The crime prevention classroom is mainly used to teach courses for second (master's) level students on "Criminal Law and Criminological Characteristics of Cybercrime in Ukraine". During the classes, it is possible to use an interactive smart board, which can be used to conduct demonstration video lessons, display the dynamics of growth or decline in the level of cybercrime in Ukraine and abroad.
The classroom also contains scientific literature developed by the department's research and teaching staff, which higher education students can use during seminars and practical classes.
In the classroom, each workstation is equipped with a computer with a modern information and legal system LIGA-LAW, which higher education students can use to search, analyse and monitor regulations, court decisions, decisions of the European Court of Human Rights, etc.
The classroom of criminal law and criminology has informational and cognitive content, which is reflected in the stands on criminal law and criminology. The stands demonstrate the educational and scientific material that higher education students study during seminars and practical classes held in this classroom.
The auditorium is also equipped with a projector, which is used to demonstrate visuals during lectures, and students use this technical tool to present their own presentation designs.
The courtroom is designed to simulate criminal, civil and administrative proceedings and can also be used to learn about the specifics of proceedings before the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and the European Court of Human Rights. Thanks to the equipment, higher education students gain not only an understanding of the course of the trial, but also practical skills in technical support of court hearings.
The classroom is also equipped with a judges' deliberation room, where student judges make decisions on the case that has been heard. Students acting as judges have the opportunity to wear real judicial robes.
The head of the training laboratory is Oleksandr Zrazhevsky.
