The Department of Management and Public Administration of the State Tax University continues to support students’ research initiatives. Thus, during November–December 2025, students of the educational program “Hotel and Restaurant Business Management” took part in international scientific events, preparing research abstracts on актуальні issues related to the development of the hospitality industry, tourism, sustainable management, and advertising management.
In particular, Anastasiia Ivanova participated in the 1st International Scientific and Practical Conference “Strategic Imperatives of Modern Management in the Context of Implementing Global Goals of Sustainable Economic Development”, held at the State University of Information and Communication Technologies (Kyiv), with the support of Varna University of Management (Varna, Republic of Bulgaria), the Silesian Academy (Katowice, Republic of Poland), the University of Economy in Bydgoszcz (Bydgoszcz, Republic of Poland), and the Teadmus Scientific and Technical Organization (Tallinn, Estonia).
The topic of Anastasiia’s paper was devoted to advertising management in the hotel and restaurant business. The study focused on changes in modern consumer behavior, highlighting the growing preference for establishments oriented toward environmental sustainability, local identity, and social responsibility, and proposed a set of measures for promoting hotel products in line with the identified trends.

Khrystyna Yasenchuk and Yelyzaveta Pushnia presented the results of their research at the 9th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Theoretical and Practical Foundations of Management, Economics, and Environmental Management”, held at V. I. Vernadsky Taurida National University, with the State Tax University acting as a co-organizer.
In her paper “Tourism as a Tool for the Economic Reintegration of Crimea into the Economic System of Ukraine”, Khrystyna Yasenchuk proposed a strategic mechanism for the recovery and economic reintegration of Crimea after de-occupation, emphasizing that the tourism industry can function as a “soft instrument” for restoring interregional ties, stimulating employment, supporting small businesses, and shaping a positive regional image.
In turn, Yelyzaveta Pushnia focused on the issues of training human resources for the hospitality industry of Ukraine.

Students Diana Horyachenko and Khrystyna Osadcha took part in international scientific conferences held in the countries of the European Union, presenting the results of their research united by a common theme—consumer behavior in the hospitality industry—while addressing this issue from different scientific perspectives.
In particular, Diana Horyachenko participated in the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Innovative Research in Science and Economy”, which took place in Brussels. Within her research, Diana focused on analyzing the impact of visual content on consumer behavior in the digital HoReCa environment, demonstrating that photo and video materials play a key role in shaping the emotional perception of a brand, increasing audience engagement, and enhancing online booking conversion rates.

In turn, Khrystyna Osadcha took part in the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Scientific Research: Emerging Theories and Practical Breakthroughs”, held in Edinburgh (Scotland) under the auspices of the European Open Science Space. She presented a study devoted to advertising management in the hotel and restaurant business, with an emphasis on contemporary trends and tools for influencing consumers. In her research, consumer behavior is examined through the prism of motivation, the emotional value of advertising, communication personalization, and the transformation of advertising strategies under conditions of digitalization and intense competition.
We congratulate the students of the educational program “Hotel and Restaurant Business Management” on their academic debut and thank them for the worthy presentation of relevant research, which has demonstrated a high level of professional training as well as the ability to analytically and scientifically comprehend current challenges in the industry. We wish them further academic achievements, professional growth, and new opportunities for realizing their research potential in both national and international academic environments.
