On March 22, 2024, the teachers of the Department of Tax Administration, Professor Volodymyr Andrushchenko and Associate Professor Tetyana Tuchak, held the final classes of the optional course "Taxation and Common Tax Policy of the EU" for applicants of the second (master's) level of higher education, majors 071 "Accounting and Taxation" and 072 "Finance, Banking business, insurance and the stock market" of educational and professional programs: "Accounting and taxation in business management", "State audit; forensic and economic expertise in financial investigations", "Management accounting and business analytics", "Tax consulting", "Fiscal administration". The elective took place within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module "Formation of sustainable interest in EU tax culture through the introduction of educational, scientific and communicative educational activities aimed at Ukrainian society" (Grant Agreement No. 101125984 - TIEU). The students of higher education showed interest in the proposed topic of the optional course, actively participated in the discussion, debated. The final stage of studying the course "Taxation and common tax policy of the EU" will be the final test and the awarding of certificates to the most successful and active participants. We hope that the listeners will share this experience and become active agents of changes in taxation according to the European model.
