Stephen Humphreys is a graduate of Princeton University and a serving U.S. attorney in the United States for government corruption investigations. He has pioneered innovative applications of organised crime and other criminal statutes in the fight for public integrity and accountability.

Stephen has served as an independent legal expert in the investigation of Russian interference in the U.S. election and in the prosecution of the Fulton County District Attorney's Office, Georgia, for attempts to cancel the 2020 election.

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Humphreys has travelled to Ukraine numerous times, spending more than six months here to assist in investigating war crimes committed by the Russian military, assisted with volunteer training and intelligence for the Ukrainian military, and taught at Ukrainian universities.

Humphreys has developed curricula for US law courses for international students, including the US Corporate Law course at the State Tax University in Irpin and the Constitutional Law course at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

In an effort to educate the public on the issues he considers most important, Stephen has assisted with film productions, working with film crews from the United States, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. One of these films, recently released under the title "Under Deadly Skies", is about Russia's violations of international law on the eastern front.

Humphreys also writes for various publications in the United States and the United Kingdom on law, politics and intelligence in the United States and Ukraine. He has also travelled throughout Ukraine photographing the aftermath of the war, including the destroyed homes and the damage the war has done to people in Ukraine, as well as documenting the courage and resilience of the Ukrainian people.

An exhibition of these photographs debuted at the University of Alabama Gallery.
