On March 4, 2026, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module project "Developing a Sustainable Interest in EU Tax Culture by Introducing Educational, Scientific, and Communication Awareness Activities Oriented Toward Ukrainian Society" (Grant Agreement No. 101125984 – TIEU), a guest lecture was held at the Center for Social Research of the Faculty of National Security, Law, and International Relations at Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University.

The lecture was delivered by Tetiana Tuchak, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Tax Administration at the State Tax University. The meeting was coordinated by Svitlana Svirko, Professor and Head of the Department of National Security, Public Management, and Administration.

During the lecture, titled "European Approaches to Taxation and the Tax Culture of EU Countries," several key topics were addressed:

Specific features of tax policy formation in the European Union;

Modern approaches to tax administration;

The role of tax culture in ensuring the financial stability of nations.

The event was attended by faculty members and students from various departments of Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University. The audience—comprising Bachelor’s and Master’s students from programs including Law, National Security, Public Management and Administration, Accounting and Taxation, Finance, and International Relations—showed great interest in the material presented. They engaged in a lively discussion, raising a variety of pressing tax issues in the context of Ukraine's ongoing European integration processes.
