On March 28, 2026, the State Tax University concluded the elective course "Taxation and EU Common Tax Policy." This course marks the second year of the EU Erasmus+ Project: "Formation of a sustainable interest in the EU tax culture by introducing educational, scientific, and communicative enlightenment activities oriented towards Ukrainian society" (101125984 – TIEU – ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH, Grant Agreement No. 101125984 - TIEU).

The lectures and seminars were conducted by the project executors: Professor Volodymyr Andrushchenko and Associate Professor Tetiana Tuchak. The classes were held online from February 14, 2026, to March 28, 2026, via the STU MOODLE platform. The audience included second-year (Master’s) full-time students from the Faculty of Taxation, Accounting, and Auditing; the Faculty of Finance and Digital Technologies; and the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law.

Studying the EU's tax policy experience helps students understand the specifics of European fiscal solidarity and the current trends in reforming direct and indirect taxation. Special emphasis was placed on the service-based model of tax authorities within EU member states. This knowledge establishes a foundation for aligning the Ukrainian tax system with EU standards, fostering tax discipline, and increasing the overall efficiency of the state budget.
