On 24 April 2024, the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Financial Policy: Theoretical and Practical Aspects of Legal Science" was held at the State Tax University. The event was organised by the staff of the Educational and Research Institute of Law. The conference was held in a mixed format.
Dmytro Lomaha, a higher education student of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Technologies, Sports and Rehabilitation, majoring in Physical Culture and Sports, won a bronze medal at the WACO World Kickboxing Championships in the kick-light division.
Recently, the Educational and Research Institute of Law hosted a guest lecture on the topic: "The Uncodified Constitution of the United Kingdom". The lecture was delivered by Luke Graham, Doctor of Philosophy in Human Rights and Public Law at the University of Manchester School of Law. The lecture was attended not only by students but also by the institute's lecturers.

On 26-29 October 2023, Uzhhorod National University hosted an international scientific and practical conference "European Integration of Ukrainian Education and Science: Problems and Challenges". The event brought together about 50 vice-rectors for scientific work of Ukrainian higher education institutions to develop a framework for the European integration of Ukrainian education and science. Oleksandra Smirnova, Acting Vice-Rector for Research, represented the State Tax University at the conference.
As part of the series of guest lectures at the STU, an online lecture by Raffaele Petruzzi was held on 4 October 2023 at the invitation of the Fiscal Administration Department of the Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
