On April 23, the world celebrates the International English Language Day — a date symbolically linked to both the birth and death of William Shakespeare, a figure who embodies the richness and beauty of the English language.
On this occasion, the Department of Foreign Languages organized a series of interactive quests for students of various specializations.
The interactive quest “To Be or Not to Be: A Shakespearean Quest” transformed language learning into an engaging intellectual adventure, where every participant had the opportunity to shine regardless of their field of study.
- tasks focused on logic, linguistic intuition, and creativity
- teamwork and quick decision-making
- immersion into the world of Shakespearean plots and characters
A special atmosphere was created by the famous quotes of William Shakespeare, which accompanied participants throughout the quest:
- “To be, or not to be: that is the question.”
- “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.”
- “The better part of valour is discretion.”
- “Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind.”
Students from different academic backgrounds joined forces in teams, proving that language is a universal tool of communication that transcends professional boundaries.
The quests became not only a form of learning but also a space for interaction, inspiration, and the development of soft skills — critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity.
Such events once again demonstrate that modern education is about experience, эмоції, and meaningful interaction.
