February 24 — a day of sorrow, memory, and the resilience of Ukraine. A day that forever changed the life of every Ukrainian. A day that divided time into “before” and “after.”

The Department of Foreign Languages conducts a week-long thematic lecture series “We Remember. We Fight. We Win.” for students of various specialties, dedicated to the events of the full-scale war in Ukraine. These classes help students reflect on what has been experienced, deepen their knowledge of recent events, and learn to convey the truth about the war to the world in English.

Volunteers from Switzerland also join the lectures, supporting Ukrainians, sharing information about international aid, and sharing their personal experiences of helping.

Students master military vocabulary and learn to speak in English about the events of the war — about pain and loss, about resistance and hope. It is important that our voices are heard. That the truth is told in different languages.

We remember every year of this struggle.

We thank our Defenders — for life, for freedom, for the future.

Together — strong.

Together — unbreakable.

Together — Ukraine. 🇺🇦
