On October 16, 2026, the Department of Foreign Languages at the State Tax University hosted an open lecture as part of the course “Psycholinguistics” on the topic “Speech Development in Ontogenesis.”
The lecturer was Nataliia Mykolaivna Lavrychenko, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, and Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages.
The relevance and interdisciplinary nature of the topic generated considerable interest among the student community. The event attracted a large audience: students from the Philology group FLB-25-1 were joined by students from other academic programs, demonstrating the importance of understanding speech development processes across various professional fields.
During the lecture, participants explored the development of human speech, the relationship between linguistic, cognitive, and psychological processes, and the influence of the social environment on the formation of linguistic identity.
The lecture provided a platform for interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and once again confirmed that language is not only a means of communication but also a key to understanding thought, personal development, and human interaction with the world.
We sincerely thank Nataliia Mykolaivna for the informative, engaging, and professional lecture, and all the participants for their interest and active involvement!
Science unites us, while language opens new horizons of knowledge!
