On April 7, 2026, an open lecture was held at the Department of Foreign Languages of the State Tax University, bringing together students, faculty members, and everyone interested in contemporary intercultural communication.
The speaker of the event was Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Nataliia Lavrychenko. Within the course “Fundamentals of the Theory of Language Communication”, she presented the topic “Intercultural Etiquette: Rules of Effective Communication.”
The lecture was conducted in a blended format (offline and online) and combined solid theoretical insights with practical examples, enabling participants to better understand the communicative behavior of representatives of different cultures. Special attention was paid to verbal and non-verbal etiquette, as well as common mistakes in intercultural communication.
The event was interactive in nature: students actively participated in discussions, analyzed real-life communicative situations, and shared their own experiences.
The open lecture became not only a part of the educational process for students of group FLB-25-1 (Major: B11 Philology), but also a platform for professional dialogue and exchange of ideas on current issues of intercultural interaction.
We sincerely thank all participants for their engagement and interest!
