Guest lectures are regularly held at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law of the State Tax University.

This time, higher education students and faculty of the institute will have the opportunity to listen to a lecture by Dr. Paul Betts, a member of the Policing Working Group of the European Society of Criminology and an Honorary Professor of Criminal Justice at the  Law School, University of Birmingham (UK).

Guest Lecture Topic:

"UK Counter-Terrorism Legislation and Policy"

The lecture will focus on UK counter-terrorism legislation and policy, as well as how this intersects with practice and real-life examples that demonstrate the growing challenges and flexibility needed to combat terrorism and extremism internationally.

The meeting with the guest lecturer will be organized at the initiative and with the assistance of the Department of Criminal Law and Process of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law of the State Ta[ University.

The moderator will be the Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Process, Professor Maksym Maksimentsev.
