On 27 March 2025, within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module «Building sustainable interest in the EU tax culture through the introduction of educational, scientific and communication outreach activities focused on Ukrainian society» (Grant Agreement No. 101125984 - TIEU) and within the framework of the Innovation and Educational Hub of the Department of Accounting, Accounting and Analytical Portal of Success at the Scientific, Educational and Production Cluster «Accounting and Finance in the Management of Sustainable Development of the Kharkiv Region» for higher education students and teachers of the Faculty of Economic Relations and Finance of the State Biotechnological University, a guest online lecture on «European Approaches to Taxation and Tax Culture of EU Countries» was held. The lecture was also attended by higher education students and teachers from the Lviv National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after S.Z. Hzhytskyi, the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, and the Rivne College of NULES. The lecture was delivered by Tetiana Tuchak, Associate Professor of the Tax Administration Department of the State Tax University. The event was moderated by Professor Natalia Kashchena.

The lecture highlighted the features of the EU as a fiscal and solidarity union of states, the latest vectors of the EU budget formation, key aspects of harmonisation of direct and indirect taxation in the EU, and the impact of the level of tax culture on taxation processes. The issues discussed by the speaker contributed to raising awareness of European values and taxation culture among young people.
