Coating Deposition Using PVD techniques (vacuum-arc evaporation, magnetron sputtering); design, development, and study of nanostructured multicomponent coatings with high hardness and thermal stability; study of the formation mechanisms of film coatings of refractory compounds (nitrides and borides of transition metals); modeling of thermal and deformation processes in nanocomposite systems.
