On November 4, 2026, the Department of Management and Public Administration at the State Tax University organized a career guidance event entitled “Your Choice — Your Future”, bringing together representatives of territorial communities, school administrators and teachers, prospective students, and members of the university community. A distinctive feature of the event was the participation of representatives of the displaced Hirske community from Sievierodonetsk District, Luhansk Oblast, for whom access to quality education and opportunities for young people's professional development are particularly important amid the ongoing war. The participants were welcomed by Nataliia Zykun, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Sports and Rehabilitation, Doctor of Sciences in Social Communications, Professor, and Mykola Husiatynskyi, Head of the Department of Management and Public Administration.

Valentyna Tarnavska, a representative of the Internship and Recruitment Department, and Alona Milevska, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, also joined the discussion. During the event, faculty members and students presented educational opportunities in management, psychology, journalism and public relations, physical education, sports and rehabilitation, and foreign languages. Participants learned about the specifics of studying at the university, career prospects, and opportunities to develop their abilities in various professional fields.

An interactive career guidance quiz provided participants with an opportunity to test their knowledge and become better acquainted with the State Tax University. During an open discussion, participants explored admission procedures, the organization of practical training, and future employment opportunities.
A significant highlight of the event was the signing of an Agreement on Cooperation and Practical Training between the State Tax University and the Hirske City Military Administration. The event was attended by Vitalii Kovalenko, Head of the Department of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports of the Hirske City Military Administration, as well as school administrators and teaching staff from the community's educational institutions: Zolote Lyceum No. 16, Zolote Lyceum No. 5, and Hirske Lyceum.

The signing of the agreement laid the foundation for developing partnerships, implementing joint educational initiatives, organizing practical training opportunities for university students, and expanding opportunities for young people's career exploration and professional development. The event “Your Choice — Your Future” provided prospective students with an opportunity to discover the university's educational programmes and marked an important step towards strengthening cooperation among higher education institutions, secondary schools, territorial communities, and local self-government bodies. After all, making an informed career choice begins with discovering opportunities, while genuine partnership begins with a shared commitment to creating them for young people.
Thank you all for your support. We look forward to seeing you again!
