On November 5, 2026, the 1st International Scientific and Practical Conference “Transformation of the Management Paradigm of Sustainable Production Practices in the Context of European Integration” took place. The conference was organized by V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University within the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project “Global Sustainable Production and Circular Economy” (Global SPaCE).
The conference brought together members of the academic community to discuss a wide range of issues related to rethinking management approaches amid economic, technological, and societal changes. The presentations addressed human capital development as a strategic resource for national economic security, the conceptual foundations of sustainable management, the application of neural network models in agricultural trading logistics, and the transformation of universities into research and innovation hubs. The research presented demonstrated the multifaceted nature of contemporary management science and the diversity of approaches to addressing current challenges

Students of the State Tax University also participated in the conference: Viktoriia Herasymenko, Khrystyna Yasenchuk, Anastasiia Ivanova, Yelyzaveta Kyryliuk, Yelyzaveta Pushnia, Dmytro Bolshahin, and Anastasiia Levchenko. For these young researchers, participation in such an event was, above all, an opportunity to learn from distinguished scholars, gain insight into the research process, and observe how new scientific ideas emerge and are supported by evidence and argumentation. After all, becoming a researcher involves more than conducting one's own studies. It requires an intellectual environment where different perspectives can be heard, unconventional approaches to solving complex problems can be explored, and the ability to ask questions and critically evaluate one's own work can be developed.
Alongside the opportunity to learn from leading scholars, students of the State Tax University made their own contribution to the conference's scientific programme by submitting research abstracts. These included:
- Yelyzaveta Kyryliuk — “Methodological Foundations for Assessing the Effectiveness of Business Process Digitalization in Hotel and Restaurant Enterprises”;
- Dmytro Bolshahin — “Human Resource Management in Enterprises Undergoing Digital Transformation: Competence Development and Overcoming Resistance to Change”;
- Anna Zbudchak — “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Business Process Management”;
- Anastasiia Levchenko — “Communication as a Tool for Optimizing Enterprise Management Strategy and Tactics in the Age of AI”.
The research was conducted under the academic supervision of Nataliia Martynovych, Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Public Administration, who also served as a member of the conference's Programme Committee.
We sincerely thank the conference organizers for the opportunity to engage in academic dialogue, learn from experienced professionals, and present the initial findings of our own research!
