From 27 February to 3 March 2023, the Brandenburg University of Finance in Königs-Wusterhausen hosted a project week, which was also joined by a group of students from the Tax University with a presentation video "Education in Wartime".

Through a video conference, the students of the State Tax University told their German colleagues about the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the occupation of the city of Irpin, the State Tax University and its terrible consequences. Our students also described the conditions under which they tried to continue their studies during active hostilities, the active restoration of the university today and their desire to return to studying at home.

The students of the Brandenburg University of Finance were deeply touched and impressed by the dedication with which Ukrainian students strive to successfully complete their studies despite the circumstances caused by the war. The German colleagues decided to help and organised a fair that lasted throughout the project week. During this time, the students managed to raise €628. According to the School's deputy director, Mrs Köpke, the funds raised were successfully transferred to the foreign currency account of the State Tax University.
