We invite higher education students of the State Taxation University to attend a lecture on the topic:  “China’s Legal System: Evolution, Education and Practice”

The guest lecturer will be Shiling Xiao, PhD, School of Law, University of Manchester (UK).

China’s rapid economic growth and expanding global influence have sparked significant interest in understanding its legal system. In his lecture, Shiling Xiao will review the structure and recent developments of China’s legal framework. He will explore the landscape of legal education and the legal profession in China, offering insights into studying and practicing law in China for international students.

The meeting with the guest lecturer will be held at the initiative and assistance of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Educational and Scientific Institute of Law STU.
