We invite students of higher education of DPU to listen to the course of lectures: "European law: European tax law" by the director of the Institute of International Tax Law (Nordkirchen, Germany) Lars Meeker.
This course offers an in-depth study of the history and structure of the European Union, as well as important aspects of European tax law. Students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the history of the formation of the legal foundations of the European Union. The course examines the structure and functions of key EU institutions, namely: the European Parliament, the European Council, the European Commission and others.
The main topics of the course include the legal foundations of the European Union, as well as mechanisms for ensuring the implementation of EU legislation. Students will learn how European law affects national tax legislation, in particular through EU directives, and will also receive an answer to the question of international financial assistance within the EU.
