Recently, the State Tax University hosted a guest lecture on the topic: “Digitalization and AI in Legal Work: Why Teach the Theory of State and Law”. The lecturer was Olga Bykova, a lawyer and representative of the National Bar Association of Ukraine in Toronto (Canada).

The lecture was attended by higher education students and teachers of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law of the State Tax University.

The following key issues were discussed during the lecture:

  • how digital technologies are changing the legal profession;
  • can artificial intelligence replace a lawyer;
  • how legal thinking affects the development of software for lawyers;
  • why knowledge of the theory of state and law is important even in the digital age

The topic of the lecture aroused great interest, as evidenced by the students' questions and lively discussion. At the end of the meeting, students and teachers of the State Tax University sincerely thanked the guests for the interesting lecture and the knowledge gained.
