On May 12, 2025, Volodymyr Metelytsia, Professor of the Department of Accounting and Auditing at the State Tax University, conducted the sixth educational webinar titled: “ESG Reporting and the Green Transformation of Ukrainian Agribusiness: From Research to Strategies.” The event took place within the framework of the MSCA4Ukraine fellowship project funded by the European Union.
The webinar addressed current topics related to the implementation of sustainability principles in Ukraine, including:
- recent EU legislative initiatives in the field of reporting (CSDDD, Omnibus, CSRD);
- establishment of a data network on the sustainability of economic entities (FSDN);
- methods for assessing environmental footprint (EF) and indicators of the Agri Sustainability Compass;
- results of enterprise surveys on ESG reporting barriers and incentives;
- a practical guide on preparing a sustainability and investment report.
The event attracted considerable interest among professionals in finance, agricultural economics, sustainable development, and auditing. It became an important step in spreading knowledge about the green transition of the Ukrainian economy and strengthening ESG competencies among Ukrainian specialists.
