On March 27, 2025, the State Tax University participated in the international scientific conference “Innovative Didactics in Higher Education Institutions: The Challenge of the 21st Century,” organized by Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa (Republic of Poland). The event took place online and gathered scholars and educators from Ukraine and Poland, who shared their experiences and research in the fields of modern teaching methods, digitalization of education, and international collaboration.

At the beginning of the conference, the advantages and features of studying at Jan Długosz University were presented. The Deputy Dean for Education and Student Affairs Paulina Uciekliak-Jeż and Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Finance at Jan Długosz University Olena Burunova detailed the educational opportunities of the institution, international programs for students and faculty, as well as the prospects for developing cooperation with Ukrainian universities.

The conference participants were addressed by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the State Tax University, Oleksandra Smirnova. She emphasized the importance of international cooperation in education, which allows for the integration of innovative approaches into the learning process, promotes academic mobility for students and faculty, and opens new opportunities for the development of joint scientific and educational initiatives.

Within the framework of the panel discussion "Trends in the Development of Higher Education in Poland and Ukraine," the university was represented by PhD in Public Administration, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Communications, Philology, and Culture Anastasiia Husiatynska. She delivered a presentation on the topic "Cooperation between the State Tax University and the State University of Economics and Technologies: Experience and Prospects of Implementing Joint Educational Programs," in which she presented the key results of the interaction between the universities, as well as outlined potential directions for further partnership.

During the discussion, conference participants focused on the following issues:

The use of modern technologies in the educational process;

The experience of digitalization in higher education in Ukraine and Poland;

 

Joint educational programs between Ukrainian and European universities;

Challenges and prospects of international academic mobility.

The State Tax University is actively working to expand international cooperation, as the exchange of knowledge and experience with foreign colleagues is a key factor in improving the quality of education and integrating Ukrainian universities into the European educational space.
