An online meeting took place between Acting Rector Dmytro Serebrianskyi and Ms. Claudia Potthoff-Kowol, Director of the University of Finance of North Rhine-Westphalia in Nordkirchen, Germany, along with representatives from the Ministry of Finance of that region.
The online meeting was also attended by representatives from STU: Andrii Boldov, Vice-Rector for European Integration and Digital Transformation; Oleksandra Smirnova, Vice-Rector for Research Activities; Ivan Shemelynets, Vice-Rector for Academic and Methodological Activities; and partners from Germany, including Professor Dr. Micker, Ms. Dix and Mr. Schmitz from the Ministry of Finance, as well as Mr. Kirchner, Deputy Director of the University of Finance, and Mr. Hüning, Head of the IT Department at the University.
During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:
- The structure of the dual education program in Germany
- Access to the electronic library
- Joint organization and hosting of events
- Expansion of the partnership network
- Guest lectures
- Continued engagement of State Tax University students in activities of the foreign institution
- Student support, motivation for learning, and research activities
The comprehensive plans discussed during the meeting envisage long-term cooperation between the parties and further integration into the European educational space.
