On November 12, at the initiative of the International Relations Department of the State Tax University, an online lecture was held by Daniel Calingaert, Managing Director of the Open Society University Network and Dean of International Programs at Bard College (USA).
The lecture discussed examples of the shadow economy's development in various countries around the world. Also highlighted the amounts lost by state budgets due to corrupt practices and explored methods for preventing and mitigating the damage from such crimes.
We hope this lecture will kickstart a productive collaboration between the State Tax University and Mr. Calingaert.
