Recently, higher education students in the specialty "International Law" of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law of the State Tax University had the opportunity to listen to a lecture on the topic: "Dreaming big: a career path abroad"

Alina Nychyk, a research associate at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (Switzerland), Doctor of Political Sciences, acted as a guest lecturer.

The lecturer has diverse experience working in international companies (Hewlett Packard, Dreberis consulting), public organizations and European institutions. In addition to scientific activities, she is a public activist and is engaged in issues of women's empowerment, democracy and Ukraine's integration with the EU.

During the lecture, Alina Nychyk shared her experience with higher education students and talked about her career path abroad. The lecturer emphasized that the path to realizing one's dream is not easy. Any failure should be perceived as an experience, as a new chance, as new opportunities. Ms. Alina urged: "Run after your dream. If you don't have the strength to run to your dream, go to it. If you don't have the strength to walk, crawl. If you can't crawl, lie in the direction of your dream!".

The lecturer told the students about the opportunities for Ukrainian youth, in particular: academic exchanges Erasmus+; internships in Brussels (European Commission, European Parliament, Committee of the Regions); Erasmus + - two-week internships; conferences, summer schools; travel (workaway, couchsurfing).

At the end of the meeting, future international lawyers of the NNI Law Institute took an active part in the topics discussed in the lecture. They asked questions and discussed with the guest lecturer. Having received answers to all their questions, the students thanked Ms. Alina for the interesting lecture and expressed their wishes for a new meeting.
