On April 22, 2024, within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module "Creating a sustainable interest in the EU tax culture through the introduction of educational, scientific and communication outreach activities focused on Ukrainian society" (Grant Agreement No. 101125984 - TIEU) and within the framework of the Innovation and Educational Hub of the Department of Accounting, and Taxation Department "Accounting and Analytical Portal of Success" at the Scientific, Educational and Production Cluster "Accounting and Finance in the Management of Sustainable Development of the Kharkiv Region", a guest online lecture on "European approaches to taxation and tax culture of EU countries" was held for higher education students and teachers of the Faculty of Economic Relations and Finance of the State Biotechnological University. The lecture was delivered by Tetiana Tuchak, Associate Professor of the Tax Administration Department of the State Tax University. The event was moderated by Professor Natalia Kashchena.

The lecture covered a retrospective of the EU's formation, European drivers of European integration, the latest vectors of the EU budget formation, key aspects of harmonization of direct and indirect taxation in the EU, and the impact of the level of tax culture on taxation processes. The issues discussed by the speaker contributed to raising awareness of European values and taxation culture among young people.
