On August 24, 2026, Ukraine celebrates 35 years of Independence – 35 years of freedom, resilience, struggle, and faith in its own future.

Independence is our history, our culture, our language, and our land. It is the opportunity to shape our own future, protect our values, and build a strong European Ukraine.

Today, we express special gratitude to our defenders – men and women who protect Ukraine every day, hold back the enemy, and fight for the right of the Ukrainian people to live in a free, independent state under the blue-and-yellow flag.

On the occasion of the holiday, the Scientific Library of the State Tax University (academic literature lending department, room 372, building C) has prepared an exhibition: «Independence Day: From an Idea to the Present».

The exposition presents publications from the holdings of our library containing information about the past and present of Ukraine, highlighting the history of the establishment and modern reality of independent Ukraine.

We invite everyone to visit the Scientific Library and explore the exhibition!

We also invite you to view the virtual exhibition on this topic!
