On 26 May 2023, at the initiative of the Student Parliament of the State Tax University, a communication event of student parliaments of domestic and foreign higher education institutions - "European Dialogue: Joining Forces for the Future" - was held.
The event brought together about 80 participants in a mixed format. The meeting was also attended by distinguished guests:
- Stephen Humphreys, professor at the University of Alabama (USA), practicing attorney, guest lecturer at the Educational and Research Institute of Law and a good friend of the Tax University;
- Dmytro Andrushchenko, Chairman of the Irpin Youth Council under the Mayor of Irpin.
- The event was moderated by Vladyslav Skrypets, a representative of the Student Parliament of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
The first meeting of student communities was a presentation one: representatives of student self-government bodies from different higher education institutions gathered to learn more about each other's activities and discuss possible areas for further cooperation.
The event began with an introduction to the indomitable State Tax University and the activities of the student parliament.
Then representatives of student self-government bodies of the partner universities presented their own higher education institutions, including:
- WSG University, Bydgoszcz, Poland;
- National University of Ostroh Academy, Ostroh, Ukraine;
- Pomeranian University, Gdansk, Poland;
- Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA, Kremenchuk, Ukraine;
- Université de Bourgogne, Dijon, France;
- University of Zielona Góra, Zielona Góra, Poland.
At the end of the meeting, the participants discussed a further action plan, possible joint projects, and tentatively agreed to hold another meeting of student government leaders in a month.
