On October 03, 2024, with the assistance of the Department of Criminal Justice and Analytical Activities, a guest lecture was held at the Institute of Economic Security and Customs by a lawyer, certified compliance specialist, digital security expert Cenzartowicz Agnieszka (Republic of Poland).
Ms. Agnieszka presented her research on “The use of OSINT methods and digital evidence in the investigation of money laundering” to the academic staff of the Institute and students of bachelor's and master's degrees.
The lecture raised topical issues related to methods of searching for factual data on criminal economic schemes, sources of information that are publicly available, the need for and possible options for verifying business partners. The speaker also revealed ways to protect your own digital data used by criminals.
We thank the speaker and all the attendees for the lively discussion and interesting questions on the topic.
