Acting Rector Dmytro Serebrianskyi held an online meeting with Claudia Potthoff-Kowol, Director of the North Rhine-Westphalia University of Finance in Nordkirchen, and representatives of the Ministry of Finance of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The online meeting was also attended by the representatives of the STU: Vice-Rector for European Integration and Digital Transformation Andrii Boldov, Vice-Rector for Research Oleksandra Smirnova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ivan Shemelynets and partners from Germany: Professor Dr Meeker, Ms Dix and Mr Schmitz from the Ministry of Finance and Deputy Director of the Graduate School of Finance Mr Kirchner, as well as Head of IT Mr Hüning.
The following topics were discussed during the meeting:
- Structure of the double degree programme in Germany.
- Access to the electronic library.
- Joint organisation and holding of events.
- Expansion of the partner network.
- Guest lectures.
- Continued involvement of students of the State Tax University in the activities of a foreign university.
- Support for students, motivation to study and research.
- The large-scale plans discussed during the meeting provide for long-term cooperation between the parties and further integration into the European educational space.
