On 9 August 2023, Bartosz Gruszecki, First Counsellor for Customs and Fiscal Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine, paid a working visit to the State Tax University.

During his stay at the University, the distinguished guest met with Acting Rector Dmytro Serebrianskyi, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and Social Development Dmytro Ventskovskyi and Acting Vice-Rector for Research Oleksandra Smirnova.

During the meeting, representatives of the administration of the higher education institution and the First Counsellor discussed current customs and fiscal issues related to Ukraine and Poland; promising areas and joint projects for future cooperation between the State Tax University and the National School of Treasury in Poland. Particular attention was paid to advanced training courses and the conclusion of a cooperation agreement between the two educational institutions.

In addition, the guest got acquainted with the material base of the University, in particular, inspected the damage sustained by the university during the invasion of the Russian occupiers in 2022.

At the end of the meeting, the parties thanked each other for the open dialogue and willingness to cooperate.

It should be noted that such meetings are important for the University, as they demonstrate not only support, but also provide new opportunities to strengthen the international activities of the State Tax Administration, exchange of experience between educational institutions and contribute to strengthening cooperation in the field of customs and fiscal issues between Ukraine and Poland.
