Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Technologies, Sports and Rehabilitation
The Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Technologies, Sports, and Rehabilitation was named in accordance with the updated 'Structure of the State Tax University' implemented on November 1, 2023. Previously, it was called as a Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Technologies and Management.
Doctor of Social Communications, Professor Nataliia Zykun, is a Dean of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Technologies, Sports and Rehabilitation.
The Deputy Deans are:
- Associate Professor Olga Kliuchka, Ph.D. in Economic Sciences is a Deputy Dean on Educational and Methodology Activities;
- Professor Ihor Malynskyi, Ph.D. in Physical Education and Sport Sciences, the Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine, Honored Coach of Ukraine is a Deputy Dean on Educational and Organizational Activities.
The Faculty currently consists of five scientific departments:
- Department of Management and Public Administration;
- Department of Social Communications, Literature and Culture;
- Foreign Language Department;
- Department of Psychology, Pedagogy and Social Disciplines;
- Department of Rehabilitation Technologies and Physical Education-Sports Rehabilitation.
The Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Technologies, Sports, and Rehabilitation holds a powerful faculty of 13 Doctors of Sciences, 14 Professors, 44 Candidates of Sciences (Ph.D.) and Associate Professors, and 20 Senior Lecturers and other Lecturers who work on a full-time and part-time basis.
Among the priorities of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Technologies, Sports and Rehabilitation are the following:
- implementation of innovative educational technologies that ensure professional development of higher education students, their high-quality professional training in the context of modern European education;
- improvement of research work with higher education students at all levels;
- formation of a cultural and professional environment and development of student self-government;
- expanding cooperation with Ukrainian and foreign higher education institutions to develop the best practices of the Faculty's academic and pedagogical staff.
The Faculty's academic and pedagogical staff contribute to the constant improvement of the educational process and the implementation of innovative educational technologies; meeting the intellectual, cultural, moral, and physical development needs of students; improving methods and forms of educational work with students and developing student self-government; carrying out career development activities.
The Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Technologies, Sports and Rehabilitation organizes scientific and practical conferences, student scientific conferences, round tables, forums, and seminars at the international and national level.
It has become a good tradition to hold annual international student scientific and practical conferences, national competitions and Olympiads in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as to participate in grant programs, social projects and other initiatives.
The Faculty has two educational laboratories: the "Human Resources (Consulting) Training Center" and the educational laboratory of physical rehabilitation and ergotherapy, as well as the Student Sports Center.
Thanks to the high quality professional training and systematic work of the Faculty's coaches, athletes, and trainers, they regularly win national, international, and Olympic awards. Among the graduates are the winner of the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi, the silver medalist of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, world and European champions, National Champions, Winners and Medalists of international competitions in freestyle wrestling, combat sambo, judo, boxing, taekwondo ITF, football, powerlifting, arm wrestling, tennis, rugby, basketball, volleyball, sport tourism, and more.
